Disney Pooh in Bee Costume Perched in Light Up-Liquid Honey Musical Snow Globe
This charming 2002 Disney snow globe features Winnie the Pooh having a merry time in the honey tree with his friends. Pooh cheerfully sits in a water globe of "honey" surrounded by bees while cleverly wearing a bee costume. Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore join in the fun. By the cute reaction, it is apparent Tiggers still don't like honey. This snow globe does not have traditional "snow" inside the water globe. It contains honey-colored mineral oil which gives the illusion that Pooh is sitting in a globe of honey. By switching on a button under the base, the water globe lights up and has a honey-colored illumination (please see photo and video). The light feature requires two AA batteries (not included). Another feature to enjoy is with a light tap, Tigger has a bobble head which moves and bounces. I have enjoyed my Disney "Pooh in Bee Costume Snow Globe" for over 20 years. This is the perfect piece for collectors of Disneyana, and an amazing addition to any collection! Over the years, I have noticed they are losing water (which is common and naturally happens - see photos). The water is not hazed, cloudy, or discolored. All my snow globes were treated very well, but downsizing has prompted me to pass them on to others to enjoy. By turning a wind-up key located in the back of the base, a music box plays "Winnie the Pooh". The approximate size of this piece is 7" x 7.5" x 8.5. There is a warning sticker underneath the base that states, CAUTION: This snow globe contains mineral oil. Discard if broken or leak develops. This item has been tested, and there are no cracks or leaks. The lights and music box work perfectly.
This item is fragile and heavy, so please take care when unpacking. Do not place snow globe in direct sunlight or near any heat source as this may cause the water to cloud. This is a hand-painted piece which may have small imperfections.
The condition of the item is "used", but I have been the only owner of this beautiful piece. I have included many photos and a video, so please view them carefully. The box definitely shows its age (please see photo) and is not in the best shape, but the Styrofoam is and has done a wonderful job of protecting this collectible from many home moves over the years.
