This has four small lights built in to the base which are shown in my second picture. This operates on 2 AA batteries which are included. This is an amazing snow globe because the tremendous size of it. This came from the Disney Store many years ago. It does have air bubbles at the top of 2 of the globes so please check the pictures out. This measures 12.5 inches tall to the top of the shell and 9 inches across the base.
